What happens if I cancel or pause after the deadline?

The cancellation of your Deutschland-Ticket travelcard must be received by us at least 24 hours before the end of the month. If you miss this deadline, it will no longer be possible to pause or refund for that month. If you pause your travelcard in our TicketPlus+ app on the last day of the month, the pause will take effect from the following month. Pausing is not possible in the first month and only comes into effect from the second month.

The cancellation of your Deutschland-Ticket must be received by us no later than the 10th before the end of the month. A cancellation or refund for the following month is then no longer possible. A little tip: You can still use the pause button up to 24 hours before the end of the month.
