What happens if I cancel or pause after the deadline?

There are two different deadlines for pausing and cancelling your subscription. We'll explain both in detail here.

1. Cancelling your subscription (Deadline: the 10th)
You can easily cancel your subscription directly in the app. For the cancellation to take effect at the end of the current month, you must complete it by the 10th of that month.

  • Example: To cancel your subscription effective August 31st, you must complete the cancellation in the app by August 10th at the latest.
  • Important: If you miss this deadline, your subscription will continue for the following month and will be charged as usual.

2. Pausing your subscription (Deadline: 24h before month-end)
Pausing is more flexible. You can pause your subscription for the following month at any time, up to 24 hours before the end of the current month.

  • Exception for your first month: Please note the special rule: If you bought your ticket in your first month on or after the 10th, it is unfortunately not possible to pause for the immediately following month due to tariff regulations.
  • Duration of the pause: A pause doesn't have to be for just one month. You can let it run for as long as you like, as your subscription will not reactivate by itself. You are in full control and decide when to end the pause.

  • Our tip if you've missed the cancellation deadline
    If you've missed the cancellation deadline of the 10th but still don't need your ticket next month, the pause function is your lifesaver! You can simply pause your subscription up to 24 hours before the end of the month and thus avoid the costs for the following month.
