Since the Deutschlandticket is a personal and non-transferable document, you cannot change your details whenever you like. However, we know typos happen—so we give you the chance to make a one-time correction.
The most important points:
One-time correction: You can correct your details (either your name or your date of birth) exactly once. After that, the fields will be locked for editing.
Either/Or Rule: To prevent misuse, you can only change one of the two attributes. If you have a valid reason to change both (e.g., marriage + a typo in your birthdate), please contact our support team.
Immediate Validity: Your old ticket becomes invalid as soon as you save the changes. Please make sure to use only the new version from then on to stay on the safe side during inspections.
How to correct your data:
In the TicketPlus+ app: Go to the "Profile" tab → "Edit Profile." Correct your name or date of birth and click "Save changes."
Via web browser: Log in to your account and go to "My Account" → "Update Profile." Enter the correct data and save the changes.
Note for Wallet users: Your ticket in the app will update automatically within approx. 5 minutes. If you use the ticket in your Apple or Google Wallet, please delete the old ticket and add the new one manually.
