What do I do if the battery in my smartphone runs out during a ticket inspection?

When using public transport, you are obliged to be able to show a valid ticket at all times. It is at the discretion of the ticket inspector whether you have to pay an increased fare (EBE) in this case. If you want to be absolutely sure, we recommend that you print out your ticket confirmation and have it with you just in case.

Note: You can also prove your valid ticket retrospectively and thus reduce the EBE penalty fee of 60.00 euros to 7.00 euros in accordance with the company's transportation regulations. To do this, contact the transport company with which you were traveling at the time of the ticket inspection.
